Nancy S. Hannah
Nancy has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. She earned her certification through The North Carolina School of Yoga and currently teaches private and group classes in a variety of settings ranging from a local dance studio to a nearby retirement community.
She teaches weekly classes at Yoga Experience where she has also served as Community Outreach Coordinator, taking yoga into neighboring churches. As a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor for many years, Nancy has observed that in the water, a centered mind, a relaxed body, and controlled breath can transform a person’s aquatic experience. Everyday, she sees that these same disciplines practiced on the yoga mat can transform a person’s life experience. Her Mindful Yoga classes carry the intention to create peaceful space where healing and renewal can occur.
